Tonight, little 4 year old Diva

informs her dad and me that she would like it if we could move to New York, New York.
Why you ask, well, “because that’s where Corbin lives!!”
Oh no, what are we in for?

So, it wasn’t as bad as I had anticipated. but still not a good time. Everything went as planned and they got that little sucker out of there and stitched me back up. It’s sore, but what they call “bearable” pain. Tylenol every 4 hours helps. Now, it’s just a waiting game to get the stitches out and to hear back about the results.
Today, I am having a “bump” removed from the side of my breast. I know it’s nothing. It won’t turn out to be anything, but still, the whole thing is making me nervous. I’m not excited about the pain or the recovery or the wait to hear that it is all fine.
It’s time to get back to blogging. I am really going to make a concerted effort to blog away my days in ‘08. I have not been keeping up with it and yet the strange thing is, I write posts in my head almost every day. So now it’s just about getting it all down in my idiary!! So, here’s goodbye to 2007. I’ll leave it with the year in pictures.
In January we got to meet up with a friend from out of state and have a baby shower for my sister:

In February, my middle boy turned 7! How could that happen?

Then in March, my baby girl turned 4! It’s almost too much!

In April, my nephew was born! My oldest turned 10! (not sure where the pics are for that) and the boys ran a 5K with their dad:

May brought tubes for B7’s ear and it was kinda tough on Mom! and, my birthday spent at one of my favorite places!!:

June was Happy Father’s Day to my hubby and then off to visit a great friend in the Niagara Falls area! what a great time!

Then came 4th of July, tons of soccer, exploring a near by Japanese garden and the boys’ first ride on a roller coaster!

August brought more soccer, a good friend back visiting, the kids and the exotic birds, B7 learns to ride a two wheeler and I danced in the rain!

September is, of course, Back to School and if you live at our house, Apple Picking!

Not much going on in October, although, I did get a great new phone!!

November is the hubby’s birthday and spending some time in IL with the relatives and my new hair cut!!

December is all things Christmas and snow!

Here’s to looking forward to all that’s coming in 2008.
In the last 2 days I have told my story of how I grew up to 3 different people.
I have gone months, even years without talking about it or thinking about it. Not that it’s anything horrible, it’s just so long ago.
anyway, now that’s got me thinking.
Three kids, three ages, three personalities. Love them all so much!
Lil Diva, still wants to hold my hand

B7, still lets me hold his hand

B10, so independent, always has been, so we hold hands in our hearts

while riding in the car tonight:
B7 ~ “I drank pop when I was one”
B10 ~ “you did not, Mom wouldn’t let us drink pop when we were one”
B7 ~ “well, I did”
me ~ “actually, no you didn’t”
B7 ~ “well then my twin did”
B10 ~ “B7, let’s keep our imaginary friends away from our real ones”
I had to laugh!
Just want to be me.
whoever that is.
what do you think of this?

I’ve always loved roller coasters. the ups, the downs, the spins, the suspense, the wind in your face, the screaming out loud. I always thought it was so awesome!
Now, I’m not so sure. I think because I’m getting older. More nerves, less nerves? Not sure. but it’s not as thrilling. now, it just gets a bit old and I have to think to myself, “when is this ride over?”
It’s the same with the roller coaster of emotions I’ve been experiencing lately. It’s just too much, too many ups and downs, without enough time spent up, too many twists i didn’t see coming. Too much screaming out loud.
Well, you get the picture.
